Do not send sensitive media unless you choose to.

MediaText Studio is designed as an offline Mac app. Production media, subtitle files and project files are not uploaded by the app for processing.

If you email files for support, only send material you are allowed to share. You can also describe the issue without attaching media, send screenshots, or create a small synthetic test file that reproduces it.

Where can I download the MediaText Studio manual?

The current user guide is available as a PDF from this support page. It covers subtitle editing, waveform spotting, Project QC reports, conversion, linebreak cleanup, AD Script DOCX export, review documents, saved projects, Help menu links and video exports.

Can support help with audio description scripts?

Yes. Include the script format you need, the required timecode basis, review document expectations and whether the work is for writers, narrators, producers or accessibility review.

Should I send production media with a support request?

Only if you are allowed to share it. In most cases, a description, screenshots, metadata or a small synthetic test file is enough to reproduce a subtitle, caption or export issue.

What details matter for timing problems?

Include project FPS, video start timecode, source format, target format, active track and whether the issue appears at the beginning, middle or end of the programme.
